On Thursday afternoon I went to retrieve a roll of toilet paper from under the lavatory to find a roll of very soaked TP! @*!%@!
We just replaced a leaking faucet a couple of weeks ago. I got on my hands and knees and removed everything from underneath the lavatory and started searching for the leak. We washed the fiver. It didn’t take too long to wash and we were glad to get all the bugs off the nose.
We also decided to add a little wax. That took a bit longer! We waxed the bottom half and the nose. We’ll wax the upper half the next time we have some free time.

The weather was great, 63 degrees. It appeared everyone needed to run errands today.

Dawn and I worked all day in the club house kitchen. We didn't do it alone, we had three wonderful ladies to help us out.
They decorated tables, washed dishes, chopped veggies, stuffed and wrapped peppers. All the while we had fun and laughed. They were such great help, Dawn and I wouldn't have got it all done it without their help.

We had the Christmas Party at the club house. Everyone brought appetizers and and we had live music.
On Christmas day we had a pot luck luncheon. The park owners provided turkeys and ham. The food was wonderful.
On Monday nights there is a JAM session. That always draws a large crowd.

We really like our new location. Rockport is a very laid back little town. The people are very friendly and the RV park is located in the middle of a residential neighborhood. But it has a country feel to it. We are within a quarter of a mile from the beach less than a mile from the HEB, Walgreens and Wal-Mart.

We didn’t get to leave on Monday due to a family emergency and a sick kitty.
We left Wednesday morning instead. Our little Squeaky has been sick off and on since September. The vet ran blood work and said he believed he had stomach cancer. We’ve been busy since we arrived back on our home turf. Dawn had her blood work and her semiannual doctor’s appointment. I’ve had a lot of dental work done. I had a root canal, three teeth pulled, six fillings and a deep cleaning. My dentist is really gentle and my recovery was quick.

It was a terrible blow. Rocky was a real sweet heart. He weighed in around 100 pounds but thought he was a lap dog. He was Great Pyrenees and German Shepherd mix. He was a gentle giant. We really will miss him.

Due to the blue-green algae outbreak we have had the campground to ourselves. There are three trailers here and one motorhome. We make up the three trailers. The motorhome is parked across the park.

He had the packing removed yesterday and said he felt much better afterwards. The doctor will be removing the splints on Friday. We have moved some winter clothes to the 5th wheel. We can only hope we won’t be here next winter. We have moved some addition cookware out to the 5th wheel kitchen. It is very important to have all the necessary cooking utensils to prepare a proper meal.
Dawn loves to cook and I must say she is pretty darn good at it too. We pulled out the 5th wheel and I finished up the curtains. Now all the windows have matching thermal curtains. We connected to water and checked the plumbing for leaks. No Leaks.
We watched washed and waxed the truck. Two coats of wax to be exact. It was only waxed once last year and it was past due for another coat. I don’t mind waxing.
