Guest House
Did I ever mention that we once owned a small guest house? We did. Dawn had always dreamed of owning a B&B. We lived on two hundred beautiful acres about seventy miles east of Dallas. It was a great place with rolling hills, ponds and a private lake.
Dawn loves to cook and on many occasions we hosted family reunions, wedding receptions and parties. People always commented on how they enjoyed coming out to the country to get away from the hustled and bustle of the city. After living in the country a couple of years and hearing the comments from visitor’s about visiting such a peaceful and relaxing place, we decided to build a guest house. This guest house would be different. We wanted to cater to woman who wanted to get away from it all.
We served three meals a day and furnish all the peace and quiet anyone could stand. Our guest could spend the day on the porch relaxing, reading a good book, fish the ponds and lakes that were stocked with bass or spending the day in bed.

We were able to do this for a few years before Dawn's father became ill and we moved in with him. We ended up selling that property and staying in the Dallas area.

Playa Del Carmen, Mexico Trip
We took a trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico with some friends and family. We had a week to spend. It was great fun. Playa del Carmen Mexico on the gorgeous, unspoiled Mexican Riviera! It's all about the sun and water! We spent time in the pool, on the beach and exploring the area. We stayed at an all-inclusive resort on the beach (Rui Palace) . This is a new resort and it was beautiful. The food was great and we had plenty to drink.
The weather was warm and the sun felt good.
