We're Full-timers

Well it is official! We are now full-timers.
We are currently residence of Lake O’ The Pines. We have a beautiful site under the large pines. Our site is nice and level with a 30 AMP hook up. We arrived Wednesday and we are now relaxing and taking as many naps as we want.

It has been a real whirl wind getting to this point. We spent the past month rushing around to get everything done and feeling like we didn’t have a moment to spare. But now we have all the time in the world.  We are going to spend a week catching our breath.  We've taken a lot of naps!!!
We can aren't able to get our air card to work in the park, so we rove to Jefferson to the DQ for a treat and access.

  1. Congratulations! I'm glad you're starting out by staying in one place for a while. Hard to nap on those days you're driving!

  9. Wooo-hoooo!!! So very, very happy to hear you are FINALLY getting much needed R 'n R. Naps are good!! Glad the hectic blur of getting everything taken care of is over for you two.

Wish Lake O' the Pines was near Beaumont where my sister and I are parked for tonight. It would be fun to have a quick coffee with you two before we move along tomorrow. We just came from four days in the San Antonio/San Padre Island/Corpus Christi area and are moving along to New Orleans tomorrow. Oh well, I'm sure we'll have the chance to meet sometime down the road.

Congratulations on making it to 'D' day. Enjoy your time at Lake O' the Pines. Where will you two head after that??

  13. Are you two out on the point or down by the entrance? Make sure you explore Jefferson...Go in the Excelcior Hotel and look around..and out to their courtyard..Lots of good food and drink there...even haunted history...They have a nice tourism center..Ask about Diamond Bessie...Can you tell...I'm jealous as Hell.
