Making Interior Changes

We have very busy making some small but comfortable changes to the fifth wheel. The first thing was removing the ugly flower border that was pasted throughout the trailer. We want to add some personality to the trailer. We want it to reflect who we are. This will soon be our home.

BEFORE
We have removed the sofa bed that was so uncomfortable to sit on. We have replaced it with a studio sleeper sofa we found at World Market. The arms come up to make a love seat. We have decided to leave the arms folded down because it makes a really nice large sofa. it fits perfect in front of the rear window and does not interfer with the slide when we bring them in for travel.

The cushions and pillows came in one color WHITE. That would not be practical with our four legged kids. Our good friend has recovered the cushion and pillows with a denim and brown fabric. It turned out really beautiful. We are so lucky to have such a talented friend.

AFTER

We have moved the recliners where the sofa originally sat. This makes for more comfortable viewing of the TV. The recliners will be replaced soon as well. Neither of us like the recliners that are in there now. They just aren't very comfortable.

We have removed the sides of the window valances and recovered them in a stamped faux leather material. It has been a lot of work, but it has been worth the effort. Now it feels very cozy!
