Rockport Texas

Looks like we might be spending our first full-timers winter in Rockport, Texas. Never been there but it seems like a nice place to visit for the winter.

  2. Lucky you! When I was a kid, we made summer trips with the trailer to Rockport/Fulton. Visit Fulton Mansion and envision a trailer park on the grounds. There was one back in the day and I have fond memories of staying in the trailer there, fishing at night from their pier with my Dad. Dave and I have been to Rockport, both with our previous pop-up and staying in a wee cottage. Love it! I hope you will, too!

  3. We enjoyed our time there. Check out the cemetery, it is very interesting especially if the wild flowers are in bloom.

  5. Been there many times when I was a teenager. Parents of my buddy had a place down there and we would go camping at Goose Island State Park. Back then 35 years ago, we caught some Big Red Fish out on the Pier at the State Park.
